MacBook Pro Retina Display – Unboxing
#11
The 15 is obviously much bigger, much faster and the screen is much more sharp. I haven't traveled since I got it, but just from bringing it around town some, I think the size is still manageable. I found the older 15" MBP to be too big and heavy to carry around. If you have any specific questions I'll try to answer them

Got to check out the new MBP with the retina screen yesterday. Pretty spiffy - as a good friend of mine would say, "It's so shiny!" The screen is super crisp, looks fantastic at all angles.
As far as the weight is concerned, it's around 1.5lb heavier than the 13" MBA, and it certainly feels like it. I think that weight combined with the size increase (obviously) makes it a big heftier when carrying around, but that's not really saying much because given its thickness, it's still very lean-mean-fighting-machine. Very cool.
I'm still getting the 13" MBA and probably with a RAM upgrade to 8gb, should be awesome. Will almost certainly be waiting until Mountain Lion is released.

How much are you selling it for?

Just a heads up for you guys. There has been quite a bit of compatibility issues with the new Macs and their USB 3.0 ports as far as being backwards compatible. Particularly with audio and music devices. If you have anything major that you use or planned on using with your new macbook, Id suggest searching around for any reported problems that others might be having with the same device.

that would be nice however still i prefer to see a SSD as standard equipment like the MBA but on the MBP.
