4G to 4GS

So, what do I do with my 4G? Throw it up on Ebay and sell it?

I'm tempted to upgrade my iPad to a iPad Dos.

What's everyone else do with their 4G?

Craigslist is your easiest, cheapest bet. You should easily be able to get over $200 for your iPhone 4 in a quick local sale.

Easy...lots of people asking 300+ on CL. I'd say $250-300 no prob, even though you may have to filter out some con artists. You can ebay but then you pay fees and can still get a run around with the wrong buyer.

Interesting. I don't really have any interest in getting the 4S, but if it doesn't cost me anything and could actually pocket a few bucks in the process, not sure there's any good reason NOT to sell it.

What kind of cons? Deal only with a local buyer, cash only. Don't see how I can get screwed other than a guy/gal not showing up to do the transaction.

Yeah...that's the only real con...you will get tons of interest from real and fake buyers. If you are eligible for an upgrade it's a good idea, unless you are going to want a cheap ($200) upgrade to the iPhone 5 right when it comes out. Generally early upgrades are every 18-21mo on a 2 year extension.

^^ I figure I paid $299 (I think?!) for my 32- if I sell it for 200 it didn't cost me but a few bucks a month. not bad.

Oh a 32GB should easily fetch $300 now. I was quoting 16GB prices.

Yeah, I'm eligible for the upgrade now. Just didn't see a need to dish out $200 for a phone I don't really need/want. Don't want to extend my contract anymore if possible. Have 6 months left on AT&T and will probably jump ship to Verizon after that.

Now when the hell is the 5 coming out.....
