I've seen some phone shots where I was pretty surprised at the quality. The thing is that you pretty much need excellent conditions. And Chase is a pro, he knows what he's doing. Phones will always be great for capturing the moment when you've got nothing else. But expecting that the actual physical quality will rival an SLR or good point and shoot with a couple of gadgets (however cool) isnt right. The actual lens and sensor are too tiny. F megapixels!
But the thing is that some of the very best shots aren't always the highest "quality"... one of my favorite shots was with an old 2 or 3MP canon. So everyone should keep shooting whether you have a Droid or a Hasselbad. More photos = better world in my book!
