Thank you for the tip Dana. I have a nano that qualifies that was gathering dust and it will now be replaced, hopefully with a new Nano.

i have one sitting around with a busted charging circuit. gonna look into this when i get home.

i miss my nano a little. it was great to have something that doesn't draw your cell phone battery.

Just to confirm, the 1st gen's only came in black or white? I bought my wife a Nano a while ago, but it has a purple faceplate. She uses it to play music in my daughter's bedroom. She's fast asleep, so can't go in there to check. If it's gonna catch fire, I better get it outta there!
