No big deal. Archive and install, or install fresh and restore from time machine and you're good.

That's what they told me to do. Erase the drive, install fresh and restore from Time Machine. Hopefully that will take care of the problem. Guess they changed my logic board for no reason.

I would just reinstall from the recovery partition rather than go through the hassle/time of moving all the data around again.

See if they'll send you a box for a mail in repair, it generally takes 2-3 days rather than weeks (FedEx Priority Overnight there and back).

So I erased and did fresh install and it crashed again during the setup process. I'm not even going to bother restoring from Time Machine. This is getting very frustrating. What are my options at this point?

You'll have to take it back to the store or mail it in again it seems like. You may want to give an independent service center a try though, they may be more willing to spend the time to diagnose the issue properly.

Went back today. They ordered another logic board. I restored from my time machine back up so we'll see what happens by the time the new board comes in. So far no more crashes, but I haven't used it enough to know for sure yet.

This blows ... Especially since you buy a Mac in order to dodge these kinds of issues in the first place.

Tell us how it gets resolved.
