Need new 13" screen for my MacAir...

I must have squeezed or applied pressure to the screen and there is a big blue 'blob' that is annoying me and I have to replace the screen...

13" screen
1.86 GhZ Intel Core 2 Do
2Gg 1067 Mhz DDR3
Nvidia Geforce 320m 256mb
serial C02F17JVDDR1

I have attempted replacing screens in the past and invariably have gotten the wrong part!

Anyone have an idea what the (right) part is and how much...and how hard is it to replace?

I'm tempted to just sell it and get a new one..

Thanks in advance!

This MacBook Air i bought around February...It's been great...Any idea the real works speed increases in the new version? Are the keys backlit? Never saw an LCD blotch out like this unreal...I know I probably squeezed it or something but never had a problem before...any point going to the Apple store?

I'm tempted t just buy a new one and get the replacement part and sell the old one or sell it as is..

Sucks..

What is the model number of the machine? It will be on the bottom case near the cooling slots, and will be one of: A1237, A1304, A1369, A1370

Is the screen cracked? It sounds like it because of the blob. If it isn't cracked it may be eligible for warranty service.

If it is cracked, the part would be about $500 or more (depending on where you purchase it). Then add in labor if you have someone else do it. If you want some help getting it sorted out let me know, I work at an Apple Authorized Service Provider.

It's A13969..

it's not cracked at all...it's bizarre actually that it happened...I don't remember a specific thing I did that caused it and it's oddly spreading...but my guess is i did squeeze it at some point...

Anyone know how much faster the new models are in real life use and are they backlit keyboards?
