ATT vs Verizon (iPad2)

going to pick up an iPad 2 this weekend, debating wether i should go with ATT (my cell provider) or Verizon... I know there are a lot of ATT haters, but I am hoping for some "personal" experience when it comes to using 3g browsing, not cell signal

att works very well in texas for both...

verizon phone sucks, not sure about the browsing...

In the Southeast, ATT works great. I have a 3G iPad and an iPhone 4 and don't have any issues. The only time I have trouble with service is when I go to New England. It gets a little slow and spotty.

I ended up going with AT&T also. They didn't have Verizon in stock anyway. My cell phone service is with AT&T and I have heard the download speeds are faster as well.

next question, whats a good price to sell my 16g ipad? buddy wants to buy it, but prices seem all over the board (actually look like they are hovering near a new one).

Depends where you are. As a general rule, Verizon is going to have significantly faster data, especially in high use areas, and better coverage.

Used ones are holding their value very well, depends on the specs and condition.
