If anyone is interested I have 2 like-new iPhone 4s and a lightly used 3GS I took away from my kids.

Go to JailbreakMe with your Iphone. Too easy.
iPhone 4 jailbreak (running 4.2, etc.) will need to use one of the methods described in my post.
