When I read stuff about people upgrading their harddrives to SSDs, it just makes me go out and buy one Getting those crazy fast load times for programs must be a dream! If only the 256Gb weren't so expensive right now...

 

I love my Vertex 2. But mine is a little different.........

I have four 60GB Vertex 2's in RAID 0 controlled by a Adaptec 51245.

 

Bronto- yeah definitely, i was the same way about mine.. i heard nothing but positives so i went the next day to newegg and picked me up one, and man oh man... nothing but positives about 'em. heh yeah i agree w. you on the 256gb price they'll eventually drop hopefully soon! mid year new tech. shortly should drop.

crazy1323- VERY nice! love stuff like that. great raid setup you got and that Adaptec is a trip isn't it? had the luxury of playing with one not too long ago. enjoy!

 

Update:
I am thinking of upgrading the size of the SSD i have, maybe to a 200gb+ I may be doing this by the end of the week so i will keep everyone updated. I have a few bags of tricks i'll reveal.

 

I got a brand new 120gb about 3 weeks ago, but since my computer was just replaced under warranty, I'm not going to put it in. If anybody wants it, PM me an offer.

 

I wish you had the 240gb one! I'm planning on buying one of those for my laptop soon.
