damaged my macbook - advice needed

damaged my macbook - advice needed

I'm pretty sure I didn't drop it but there's a slight dent on the right side of the monitor. It hasn't affected anything other than the way the hinge works. The picture showing it popping out from the back, if you put a little pressure it pops back into place fairly flush. The thing is it's just over a year old and I'm pretty sure the warranty is out. Should I/is it possible to buy applecare and this will be covered or will I have to just pay full price to get it fixed and can this be fixed instore or does it have to be shipped out, TIA

We've always bought the ACP at time of purchase with the Macbooks and they've been great about fixing everything (except water damage!)

Make an appt., it may be an easy, cheap fix.
