I will be getting one also. For short trips where I'm not working it'll be great and less $$ to carry instead of the MacBook.
I'll also be using it at home to read books and control my mac mini based media center.
So a massive remote control basically.
Hopefully it'll do iTunes home sharing so I can watch films in any room with it also.

 

Have owned the stock in my portfolio for years because people love Apple products. HQ is about a 15 minute drive up Hwy 280. We own 4 iPods one of which is a touch for my daughter. Beyond that no other products appeal to me. Over priced. I am a baby boomer who does buy into the "got to have an ixxx because I want to be cool". I do like the iPod but it has a function I can enjoy. 95% of the time it is plug into my new E550DD. The interface on the new MB are practically as good as holding the iPod in your hand while it's in the glove box. MB did a good job making the device user friendly. I have a Verizon BB tour. How much stuff do you need at the end of the day?

 

sounds like conjecture to me, but estimates of preorders peaking ~20,000 units/hr should be worth a few bux in the portfolio if you're holding aapl...

 

I have absolutely 0 interest in this.

 

Have pre-ordered 2 64gb wifi only units for our household. Should be great to travel with when my laptop is not needed. I think this product will be a hit for Apple and will evolve into something huge over the next couple of years.

nah...kindle is fine or me...I'm a laptop guy so I use my Air when I travel

 

i plan on getting it...but want to wait a while...want to play with it in stores first...

 

I like the idea of messing around with the internet while watching TV and not having a laptop sitting in my lap. So I'd like to see it...

 

I already have an iPad nano so I don't really need one
