Duplicates, so annoying, program to download to help out with dup music files?

Duplicates, so annoying, program to download to help out with dup music files?

I think I asked this before but couldn't find my old post.
I accidentally imported 2x the same folders and wanted to download and run a good duplicate removal app, best one recommended?

iTunes has a "Show duplicates" option, and asks to actually delete the file (vs just remove from the library). I think.

I downloaded TuneUp. I am sure Simba has some simple fix for this though... Good luck buddy.

I have the same problem. It does show the duplicates but doesn't offer to delete them.

File -> Show Duplicates. Command+click one of each and delete 'em. TuneUp also works, but is kind of overkill for just removing dupes.

when i click every other one ( I doubled half my library) it automatically highlights the ones in between too. is there a faster way that click+delete one by one?

Hold the command (apple) key while you click to select individual tracks, then do one delete operation.

Alternatively, you can use one of the apps listed earlier.
