i have it. nothing spectacular. figured out the cut and paste and the landscape texting is pretty cool. probably wont use the voice recorder ever. waiting to see some hacks for tethering, saw a link today but apparently the 3.0 upgrade killed it. also sucks that att customers have to wait until late summer for picture messaging

Ok, finally got it to go through, just had to try it a bunch of times. Another trick that works is to disable your internet connection on your iTunes computer as soon as you see the "extracting update" window.

I have been reading about how much trouble people have been having with this all day.
I must have lucked out, opened iTunes, plugged in my phone, was finished with the update in 10-15 minutes.
Makes me look forward to my new 3GS even more!
