dvd copies
#3
hey, just recently had the same problem. here are the names of some programs you should get that let you make complete copies of DVD's, along with instructions.
Download MacTheRipper and DVD2one.
MacTheRipper
1) Put the DVD you want to copy into the DVD drive
2) Open MacTheRipper
3) Do a full disc extraction. This should create either an ISO file or an IMG file (can't remember off the top of my head)
4) Go to the disk burner utility, select the ISO or IMG file you created with MacTheRipper and burn that file
DVD2One
This program lets you make complete copies of a DVD, but unfortunately detects copyrights, so you have to rip the DVD using a program like MacTheRipper. However, it will create a disc image for you if you've downloaded a movie from a torrent or something like that.
1) Select make a full disc copy
2) The program will prompt you for the location of the Video_TS files, they are located in the folder containing the movie you downloaded or the image you created using MacTheRipper
3) Select the folder containing all of the Video_TS files, and then hit start, or follow whatever directions it gives you (sorry for the vague, haven't done this in a while)
4) The program will create either an ISO file or and IMG file.
5) Use the disk burner utility to then burn the ISO or IMG file to a DVD
If you have any other questions or if you need the programs, PM me. I'm doing this all from memory, so there might be a mistake, but it's the right general direction. So seriously, if you have some problems PM me.
