I have an important application that only runs under OS 9. I am running this application over my network at the office and connect on Mac's running OS 9.

I have a couple of extra mac's in the office..I think two of them are G4's:

It's been a long time since this Mac's have been in service and I don't remember what OS they came with.

Does anyone have experience running System 9 and 10 at the same time? If so what is the latest version of 10 they can run?

I will get more information on the exact configuration of them tomorrow.

 

I believe they killed system 9 with Tiger, so 10.2 and earlier should still support classic.

 

I finally found my discs and was able to get my mirror doored G4 dual processor working. I'll tell you, these machines kick ass and are without a doubt a 'secret' best buy..Runs super fast and smooth with Tiger (10.4)..also found out system 9.2 works with 10.4.

It's amazing how 'snappy' OS9 is.
