Anyone try burning HD video with a blu-ray burner yet?

Still looking for the best way to store HD video and, as a bonus, play it back on a blu-ray player.

Now that external blu-ray burners are ~$300, I was wondering how well it worked...

I know the new version of Toast will let you burn to blu-ray. I personally haven't tried it yet, still waiting for the media to come down in price.

Actually...apparently Toast 10 will allow burning HD video onto standard DVD's that can be played back on a blu-ray player...hmmmm...THAT'S interesting...anyone try it yet? Simba?

Can do with DVD Studio Pro via the blue laser option and some creative tweaks. It's not really ready for prime time yet due to licensing issues that Apple is working on. Expect a point and shoot solution (and BR superdrive) by summer.

If you want to do it now with a third party burner, Adobe Encore will do it.
