Anyone know where to find original System 9 discs?

I need OS 9 for some old software and can't find the original discs. I want to get it again but what I have found on Ebay is machine specific and will probably not install on some of the Mac's I might use..

Any leads?

What about running 10.4 and Classic? The Classic environment emulates OS 9, while still working on "modern" Macs. Would that work?
