Photo Editing

Any recommendations for free photo editing software? I have P-Shop on my PC but was looking for something for my macbook pro. I know I could run parallels and put the p-shop on the mac but I wanted to see if there was some free software that would work well.

"Free" and "Work well" are not terms that generally occur together in the graphics field. You could try The Gimp, but it's complete crap compared to Photoshop.

If you already own PS, you should be able to get a Mac upgrade license for less than a full retail license.

dude, just bite the bullet and get CS4; been using it for a month

Got a D60 for my B-Day and even this artistically challenged fool can produce magazine quality photos (Get the topaz plugin)
