My good dealer friend told me that the demand for PDK just isn't there as Porsche thought it would be from the get go and Porsche NA is forcing the first few cars ordered by dealers to be PDK only cars...interesting!
Thoughts amigos?

Isn't that what BMW does with everything designed by Bangle?

That is interesting, but I'm thinking it's down to those weird flippety-flop-buttons.. The gearbox itself has gotten very nice reviews from the car magazines I've read.

I ordered mine manual, I now PDK is faster but to me it takes the driving pleasure and feedback away. Everyone is different.

+1. i haven't read or heard of a really good feedback about them. i wish porsche went with the left-down, right-up paddles.

i really beleive the PDK is a good gearbox.. the reviews are very good about the tranny, except for the paddles.. but the way the car performs with the PDK is amazing!!
i think most of the customers are waiting to hear about the defects or bugs and issues others face with the PDK..

Honestly, there is no better feeling in the world than having your head smacked back into your headrest as you POP THE CLUTCH!

This is why I sold the GT-R... The paddles just took a certain thrill out of driving.
