991 Turbo S
Having a dilemma deciding whether to go for the new Turbo S or simply keep my12' Turbo S. Having added a new Akrapovic Exhaust and just passing the 5k mark I just am not sure the trade up is really worth it. The HP is not that huge plus I have come accustomed to this car since purchasing it in january 13'. I have done the build you car and with a few add-on the MSRP it come to ~ $190K. Think I may have to see one in the showroom before making a call on this one.
Either decision will not be earth shattering either way. Just thinking out loud.

Interesting question. I'm pretty sure quite a few people are in this dilemma of what to do. The 997 platform is good. It's a very good feeling Porsche for sportiness. The 991 is a better daily driving car. It also looks a little better due to their size mods and the cleaner lines. As of now, the jury is out on it's sport ability. It will take time on that one. The safer bet is likely to not take the money hit from selling the car you own, unless you do it immediately. When more 991's hit the street, your car value will fall daily. I've been told by the people who have seen the new 991 turbo that it is unbelievable looking. And fast.
I ordered a turbo S. Not sure why, but the interior is just awesome on the 991.

This was the dilemma I was in about a month ago. I love my 12 TTS...but I'm falling for lines of the new cars. I optioned out a new TTS and came up with a frigging 197k car...that is only going to be another .1 of a second quicker to 60 (which is impressive still but...) and wont sound any more thrilling. That's pretty much when I decided to order a 991 GT3. The MSRP is actually a little higher than that of my 997 TTS, but I'm sure the fun factor will be there in spades.
The interior on the new TTS looks HOT though...

Great comments. No arguments here. The weird thing that can only come from a wheel nut like myself...is that the new styled spyder wheel is still a little odd to me. The 997 spyder is cleaner.
