Gemballa takes the new cabrio from mild to wild

Our friend Tim, better known on the web as car-spotter "Shmee150", recently published this video of tuner Gemballa's take on the new Porsche 911 convertible, and it looks pretty wild! Always known for dancing on the fine line of over-the-top, Gemballa's kit adds a more aggressive demeanor to the cab that does seem to work.

As well as the body-kit, the tuner adds new wheels, revised interior, and 1980's style six-tip exhaust system, that will help you instantly recognize this is a Gemballa creation.

Yes it may look a bit to wild for mosts taste around here, but it sure does sound good! My bet is this would fit in perfectly on Florida's famous South Beach.

 

I like the sound. Reminds me of the ail cooled notes of yore.

Bit over the top, but certainly unique and strangely appealing.

 

I can't get over that sound...I love it.

 

It has 6 exhaust tips. SIX. And it sounds lovely.

I want it.

 

I think it needs more exhaust tips.

 

That exhaust sounds pretty great and the exterior is surprisingly restrained compared to Gemballa's previous efforts which seemed like a 10 year old's caricature of a 911 convertible.

 

so glad gemballa didn't go under. The CGT gemballa is simply a work of art
