TECHART Program for the 997 Turbo Cabrio: GTstreet R Cabrio

The GTstreet RS program is now being applied to the Porsche 911 Turbo. Introducing the GTstreet R Cabrio! It is fitted with the TECHART power kit TA097 / T3.1 that boasts an engine performance of 485 kW (660 hp). A maximum torque of 860 Nm at 4,600 rpm is now available to this vehicle. With the Tiptronic S, the GTstreet R Cabrio can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds; and with manual transmission it only takes a tenth of a second longer. Some of the exterior highlights are: TECHART daytime running lights, front apron with carbon splitter, side carbon flaps, headlight and mirror trims, rear apron with carbon diffuser, air outlet and carbon air ducts, to name a few.

Looks good - but something off with the performance numbers, I think? TechArts are faster than 3.4, surely!?

Love the front grille. Not sure about the vent behind the fenders, but solid A+ overall. Great job, TechArt!!

Also: road-test that car! I think TechArt is being too conservative on the numbers. Porsche is reporting 3.7 STOCK!
