Stock Inventory Order Opinions: 991 Carrera S Coupe 7-Speed Manual PTS Signal Green
#12
I was curious on how RS green would look on the 991, so I tried to match it the best I could with Photoshop. I agree that green stitching would make the car even more special, but if the price is close to $4000 it might not be worth it.

Keep in mind - a lot is redundant - some are deviating stitching, some are individual for the same panels (basically opens the palette), so you can cut the estimate in half.

This is a spectacular spec! I agree on erring to the side of checking all of the deviating stitching boxes -- in the grand scheme of things, if I can afford a $100k+ car, I can certainly afford a few extra grand for the added stitching

Saludos Eduardo, z356,
I know its off the topic - but what happened to the 356 carrera cab you once owned..I guess it was one of the biggest mistakes in oyur life to get rid of ..with only 42 made..and prices somewhere areound 250K..
If you still have it somewhere rottening in your garage...Il be there tomorrrow to buy it...
PS: I also own a 356..but not a carrera...

That's going to be one bad-a$$ 911. Will be on the look-out for actual pics when it's completed.
As for the input on build:
- Get rid of the Model Designation. And given this car will have a sportier build, with black wheels, try to find a way to blackout the PORSCHE emblem. Or, just remove it and put on a black model designation. The factory chrome emblems won't work well with these colors.
- A few extra grand for deviated stitching is a must for such a unique car
- When is Porsche going to add more alcantara options for the 991? After the GT3s come around? I'd like to see some alcantara choices such as the seats, doors, steering wheel, etc.
- VERY glad to see a sporty build without all of the 'luxury' options such as Adaptive SS, sunroof, etc. This sounds like it will be a real drivers car...

Ok. $2000 is worth it. Almost. Still I agree you have to have some green in there to make it pop.
