991S - Last minute order change!
After much deliberation and still recovering shoulder injury I drastically changed my Manual, Agate, 991S August build to:
Platinum Silver
Black interior
PDK
PDCC with PASM sport suspension
Sport Chrono Package (mainly for the dynamic engine mounts)
20in Carrera S wheel
Wheels painted Platinum
Wheel spacers, 5mm
Power Sports seats -14 way
Premium Package
Bose Package
Sunroof in Glass
SportDesign steering wheel
The main change and VERY difficult to decide on feature was of course the PDK vs Manual. Not necessarily from the perspective of performance but more from personal circumstance.
I was so convinced about going for the manual that it was pretty much a non-issue for me from the start. That was until a couple of things happened. As some may know I'm recovering from a deer vs motorcycle joust where neither won. That was a year ago and I suffered numerous shoulder, rib, and left arm injuries. All my healing has gone extremely well but some movement issues take a longer time to heal...I'm getting there. I thought I would be fine with a manual tranny and hence my ordering it. That was until I tried a manual a few days ago.... Hmmm.... I was a bit too optimist about my recovery. After driving the manual car spiritedly for about 15 minutes my shoulder was getting very sore. Just as well I found out now! So I changed my order to the PDK which I tried and found it to be vastly better than the PDK box I had in a 997 4S I had owned. Sorry for the long winded explanation.
I hope my spec works out. Your comments and deliberations are always appreciated and welcome.

spec is still amazing. i would pester you about switching to pdk but in your circumstance i fully understand. cant wait to go test drive one myself actually. everyone is saying that the pdk is vastly improved from the 997.2. get well soon! cant wait to see pics of the car and hope you're able to enjoy it in good/fully recovered health

I will most likely keep the car for less than 2 years when I'll probably switch to another variant of the model. I don't think it'll be a cost effective option for me.

I had been dithering over the color for a while and when I saw pictures of jcbh's Agate I was convinced it was the way for me to go. Then I saw the color in real life at the dealer and it was way to similar to my 997.2 of a few years ago and thought I needed a change. Not a drastic change but a change for sure. I saw a 991 with platinum silver and noticed that it really accentuates the lines of the car. Hence my change.
