The 991 has no need the stock exhaust sounds great.

I guess for me the paddles lost their 'wow' factor rather quickly; on top of that I much more often just change gears with the actual gear selector then the wheel. I found the multifunction steering wheel much more usable and useful.

sport exhaust. GET IT.

Did the deer survive?
If so, you won.
A few years back a gal hit a bear on her bike riding up I-81 toward Bristol.
She did not survive the collision.
No doubt your recovery will take a bit longer, but you did survive the encounter.
Great spec on the car, I'm sure you will enjoy it immensely.

Nope the deer did not survive and it met the same fate as my Triumph Bonneville... both bent and unsalvageable.

Very sad about the gal. The survival stats for motorcycle / deer encounters are horrifying. Only 20% of riders survive! So I am fortunate indeed. I will regain 85% of my shoulder movement. I feel I'm almost there.

+1 to PSE
+1 to SportDesign wheel (I love paddles, always use them regardless of what car I'm driving -- if it has them)
+1 to SportChrono (Sport+ button goodness)
-1 to PowerKit (almost $20k for 30hp that you'll probably never realize you have? Not worth it.)

9911 is an unknown quantity at this point
Re the power kit: Not worth the money in my eyes, if you look at the curves attached. With power kit you only gain something above 6500, which probably is only useful for track driving.

BTW: Great built, enjoy!

STOPPIE your comments are appreciated and I'm sure correct however the car is not going to be a DD for me and I also want a minimalist wheel. Whilst not ideal, the SD wheel comes closest to my req. So I'll stick with it.

I did some more thinking on the PSE and whilst I was at it also about the glass sunroof that I had opted for. It was back to the drawing board for a day. Then on to bothering my dealer with the new spec. The car had just been locked in and some discussions with the PCNA dealer rep had to be done. But unless I'm told otherwise the new order is now in the system and has the following spec:

Platinum Silver Metallic

20-inch Carrera S wheel

Wheels painted Platinum (semi-gloss)

Black standard interior

Sunroof (steel which I think will look better on a Silver car)

Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)

Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) with PASM sport suspension

Sport Chrono Package

Sport Exhaust System

SportDesign steering wheel

Packages P37 BOSE(R) Audio Package

Premium Package*

*Interior P06 Power Sport Seats (14-way)

So I've taken you guys up on the PSE which I hope will be worth it! I dumped the glass roof for the steel as I'm not convinced about the glass roof aestheics on a silver car. I also dumped the 5mm spacers as I think the difference is too minimal to notice.
