PDK woes (991 Specific)

^^ I have to agree with said salesman above LOL .. I do recall taking delivery of the first C4S PDK Launch car and trading my gorgeous SL 63 to said salesman. PDK then impressed me, went well in my C2S cab and now so in the TT. No complaints here.

Those seats sucked and still do thats why when anyone here brings up the absurd idea of using sport buckets in a daily driver I know they have never ever tried that idiotic idea.

i think pdk is excellent for the purpose it serves which is to be VERY driveable and comfortable in normal driving and hectic traffic, which it is, and also to be able to switch to fast aggressive shifting with the flick of a switch but only on occassions when you "need" it. if you want to be able to have complete control of the car then go for the manual like the purists do. but trust me some old guy or any woman is not going to want to have a manual when pdk does the job for them 99% of the time. and its SO much better than tiptronic.

The biggest grouse these guys seem to have is that the 911 design hasn't changed much. And at that point, we have to interject and say "The design is evolutionary alright, but the engineering is certainly revolutionary!"
People fail to understand why Porsche keep retaining the classic design cues of the 911. It's about making better, what you have rather than starting from scratch.
Porsche engineers are the sort that start with something, and aim to constantly and consistently improve on it.

Haters gonna be haters. You simply can't reason with them.

But to be fair to that car, the tranny in it seems to work at least as well as the 997.2 pdk.
