Other than the nostalgic look, I'm scratching my head why anyone would want this over the cab. Previous targa's have just been cab's with an added roof etc. Unless it weighs considerably less than the cab or provides more rigidity, what's the point?

Asking what the point of a Targa is, is quite redundant, don't you think? It's like asking what the point of the G55 AMG is.
