That's old school....I love it! The previous Targa was good for a time (technical-wise) but I'm glad they're bring back the design that's been tried and true since the 964! I hope they'll start making them soon! Especially in Targa 4S form!!

 

I love the traditional Targa. It's gonna be a winner. It's a unmistakable classic 911 look and I hope it's a removable old school top.

Really interested in how this top opens. I've seen some rumors that it will be an automated process as opposed to a manually removable roof.

 

hmm. I do wonder what those seams indicate on that car... automated? where would it go? Basically a DIFFERENT style 'vert?

 

I'd like to know how it works too. The roll-bar/hoop seems to be made out of glass. Or it's just a really good camouflage job.

The fins in the air-intakes on the bumper looks different from the ones on the regular Carrera and Cabriolet. Constant improvements and changes by Porsche R&D? Or maybe just a design feature that's exclusive to the new Targa?
