Yeah they are much better in person. There is a lot of detail to them. Still, it's hard to beat the HREs. Not planning on dropping it right away. I think I'll wait until the OEM PASM shits the bed, then swap them for PASM-compatible PSS10s.

 

Excited to see the progress on the car.....although i am still scratching my head on the front lip. I saw someone say its a GT3 lip? How can that be when the 997 GT3 has an entirely different front end than this? Is it a 996 GT3 lip? Is it aftermarket and just "called" a GT3 lip?

Not that it matters - just wondering....

 

Yeah, I asked the Geoff @ Isringhausen and that was the reply. It's sexy in person. I compared it nose-to-nose with another 997 and it's a big improvement.

 

to be honest,that 996 GT2 lookalike frontlip looks a tiny bit off on it.
Not bad or something but I think a proper GT3 front would do better

 

I think the lip sets the car off perfectly. Looks awesome in person. You were really lucky it was on the car when you got it!

1. that front lip is just BEYOND awesome, well done and THANK YOU in advance now i know what the 1st thing i have to do is if i ever get a 997

2. turbo wheels suck on TT all the same but i must ask:
are they offered in different sizes and offsets? they can't be just direct bolt-ons on the NB 997s, can they?

3. when are the HREs going on mate?

4. Jas is right, it is in DIRE need of manutd plates and that will REALLY give it all the character along with the lip, tails, wheels

 

The Turbo wheels are sized for NB cars. Porsche makes all the styles in all the sizes (from base Boxster to Turbo). These would bolt on any NB 997 (or 996 AFAIK). The HREs are still in the loop - waiting to hear back from Arling on the finishing date. I know I'm in the queue to get them built though.
