client recently picked up his brand new 2011 Carrera S PDK and of course he immediately booked an appointment to get a few modifications done. The car rolled in with 200 miles on the car!

Platte Forme a.g. team... got inton installing the Fabspeed dual cone intake/heat shield to get more airflow into the engine, the extra grunt from the engine is also a plus. To free up exhaust flow we went with the Fabspeed bypass pipe to get rid of the center muffler. On top of the increase exhaust flow you also shave a little weight from the car.

These 2 modifications are very quick/easy and together they work very well together. The throttle response is great and the extra aggressive exhaust note when Sport+ is on sounds amazing!


Part 2:
The mod bug wasn't finished with just those 2 pieces! We installed the IPD Intake Plenum which gives an extra 10-14hp/tq to the wheels!! Finished it off with a tune to bring everything together, car sounds better, engine bay looks better.. and having an extra 35-40whp isn't too bad either.

I've done the same thing, however ended up putting the stock air box back in with some BMC filter, it was too noisy

 

Could give us the cost? Looks good!!!
