Replacing uncomfortable "comfort" seats

Replacing uncomfortable "comfort" seats
I jus got a new 2012 911 (997) and I have found the standard "comfort" seats to be really uncomfortable. I have a long torso and wide shoulders and my shoulder blades are resting on the part of the seat that curves inwards. Its OK for about 20 minutes and then I can't stand it.
I went back to the dealer and they basically told me too bad and if I dont like it then I should complain to porsche. They didn't even know the adaptive seats were available for my car (black edition) and I tried them in the store when I went back and they felt great. If they had told me they were available when I placed my order it would be one thing but they didn't. The cost difference would have been $350 because I got the ventilated seats.
They suggested I buy them on the open market and install them (its a lease so I need OEM equipment) but that would cost $10,000!
After spending $85,000 on a car this is ridiculous.
Any ideas on what to do?
Thanks

I did go on a test drive but they dont let you take it out for 30 minutes. My back starts hurting at about 15 minutes and its gotten worse over time I think from being in that position while driving.
Its absurd though to put $10K into a leased car...

Agreed. Mine let me take it over the weekend drive. Each dealer is different.

standard seat doesn't have the wings on the shoulder. why would it hurt your shoulder?
the sports seat plus and adaptive do have the wings. if you have the seat with the wings, you can have an upholstry shop modify it to fit.

I have the standard seats without the wings and that's the problem. If I had the wings, I wouldn't have those bolsters pressing against my shoulder blades all of the time.
I finally sat in an adaptive seat and it felt great
I wish I could chop out holes in the bolsters so I fit better!

So you spec'd a car and now don't like the options? This is Porsche's fault? You say the dealer didn't know they were available for your car? Why wouldn't they be? Why didn't you know? Your car is black with some options. Nothing more. No reason you couldn't get the seats. Yes, they dealer should have known but maybe you should know a little more yourself before leasing a $85,000 car. Fact is, there is nothing you can do or that the dealer will do (most likely). Best bet is to buy some/trade with someone.
