i honestly don't understand why so many people like the cayenne, my neighbor has one and i think there are like 6 of them on my block along.

back to topic, i really hope i drive out of the dealership tomorrow in my current car and not a 911 turbo

The Cayenne was to replace our current X5. We test drove a couple of the other options, there's nothing else on the market that offers the same refinement and driving experience as the cayenne. The wait for one is a bit too long for our taste, though. I guess it explains why you are seeing so many lately. The V6 model has almost a year wait, and the S model is about 5-6 months.

997 Turbo pdk hands down with a buy-back contract for 3-4 years with the dealer guaranteeing a fixed price that it will buy it back off you should you decide to trade up for the next gen turbo when it comes out.

A 2 seater manual Porsche that weighs less than the Turbo and goes around the nurburgring in the same time as the current 997 GT3 is not for gearheads? Get real... The 991 will have better resale value as well. No doubt in my mind if you don't need the neck snapping power or awd.

Put yourself in the position that in 2005 you could choose between the 996 Turbo or a brand new 997 Carrera S and which one would you rather have today? Maybe that will help.

996 Turbo no doubt ab it. You don't have to agree with me but an S would never find its way to my garage. And yes I've had seat time in
Both

An S to me is like driving a v6 mustang or Camaro. No matter how you try to justify it you can't. I don't think I'm alone on that
