Good luck on your search for the perfect automobile.
i'm currently leasing a 335i convertible which ends spring 2012. i was originally gonna get a m3 but the mileage kinda scared me away a bit. as far as my friend who owns one kept telling me.

i think i'll wait and see just how good this 991S is, if it isn't all that cracked out to be. 997tt here i come

I think you are making the right choice as well. I'd wair a few years before getting a 991to let Porsche correct the flaws that normally characterise an all new car. Later on in a cars lifecycle they tend to get more and more reliable. Either way I'm sure you'll be very happy

thank you for bringing up a fair point. now i'm even more content on the 997 TT, perhaps i can work out a lease on the 997 tt and get the 991 S or maybe even turbo when they become mature (991s) or available (991tt)

seen this before when the 997 came out, and discussions went on around 996TT versus 997S... a Turbo is a Turbo, and no other 911 will give you that raw power... having said that, and TRUST ME, the minute the 991 hits the streets, the 997 will look SOOOOOOOOOOOO dated, especially on the interior, no matter how refined the 997 is... and it will only get worst with time... the 997 made the 996 interior and exterior look really bad after a while... go for the 991S, with all the bells and whistles... plenty of time for you to upgrade to a 991 Turbo later on

991 all the way, plenty of power and always fun to have the latest and greatest.

The Yank:

Do you want to come by the dealer and see the 997 Turbo you have interest in? I personally would rather have a pre-owned Turbo over a non-turbo car.

Certainly plenty 997TT on the market to choose from. That's certainly to your advantage.
