As far as S5 it is a slick looking car but fat and slow IMHO. Gtr is one helluva DD though. I've seen them in the 60k range. Just saw a '10 for 65 last night in jersey.

LOL....you know me man! Hope you are well. Love following your projects on FB. If you ever get to PA hit me up and well talk about the good ole JDM days. I am really liking a few 997's on the market right now and most happen to be C2S's....me thinks i will get one and DD it through whatever weather is thrown at me.

Northeast PA here. Made it all last winter with an E92 M3 and a pair of blizzaks. Without the tires, no way. With, it's not too bad.

Still... in my 997 C4S with new tires, heavy rain + decent highway speed is a little sketchy. Not sure about snow. A 305 width tire is not going to be an easy time.

Hello Neighbor

Yea i hear ya...my 997S with summer tires was def a little "slippery" in the rain --- in the snow -- undriveable. I am not looking to create a "great" car in the snow --- just something that can get me home if i am out and it snows a little bit thats all. I think nice snows will get that done nicely.

The 911 will snow tires is a great winter warrior, the C4 is obviously the king.

Go for it! I have put many clients in them as there sole winter car and have never received a complaint.
