European plates do look much better than US plates, regardless - ANY front plate adversely affects the looks, aerodynamics and cooling system of nearly every car & truck on the road. They are a cancer forced upon the population by bureaucrats.

I believe they hide them inside the bumper ...any much better than these hideous bump...... Look at the tow hook placed differently.

In Europe the front license plate will never disappear. Speeding tickets all depend on the front license plate (all must have a photo with the front license plate that can be clearly seen and the speed).
