love the front but can't warm up to rear as well. in some photos it looks bloated, almost Panamera-like. i'm sure seeing it real life might change my perspective but it hasn't about the Panamera thus far.

911's usually don't photograph as well as they look in person so if it looks this good in photos it is going to look even better on the highway. As Mike S stated would of liked to see more of the engine but it's not like we have seen much in that engine bay the last few years anyways.

It seems rather plain to me. Maybe when i see one in person that will change.

I hope it looks better in person. As of now it reminds of the 996 when it replaced the 993 they missed the mark on that car, now the 991 doesn't look as good as the 997 that is just my opinion.

This has been one of my primary complaints with the design, but I suspect it's due to regulations more than anything. If you look at the 930 & 993, the rear bumper and taillights were shin-height. Starting with the 996 and moving through the 997 & 991, the rear bumper keeps getting taller with the tails rising as well. I think that's one of the reasons why the 993 was so loved...the low rear-end.

Me too. Its simple, and doesn't have all of that stupid plastic to dress it up like most sports cars these days have.

Anybody know which shade of blue that is? Doesn't look like the dark blue metallic of the 997...
