Seems like Porsche is asking for the publicity driving these things around virtually undisguised, seems kinda uncharacteristic as Porsche usually hides their designs for the official release.

Not true. Before the 997's debut it was spied running around in similar disguise as these 991s.

Here is a comparison of the 997 and 991 so we can see the proportional differences between the two.





I LOVED the 997's design, and to me, the 991 shares the same general shape, but it has been improved upon to make it even sexier and sleeker, while adding in new, more modern, and naturally sexy details. Definitely one of the best looking generations in a long time. The hips remind me a little of the 993's.

Driving around in the latest gen 911 with hardly any disguise, and in bright colours like, green, blue, red, and yellow, they aren't exactly trying to sneak under the radar...
