996 C4S @ Shark Werks: HRE R40 wheels, Tubi Exhaust, EVOMS intake and EVOMSit Tuning

This very clean '04 C4S came in recently for a couple changes including the EVOMS V-flow intake for a bit more power and engine sound, Italy's superb Tubi exhaust and EVOMSit software for more kick and sharpened throttle response.

The plan was to take weight off the wheels, check out our article showing the weight savings using the same wheels, featured on our 996 GT3.

Here she is, stock as they come:

Originally the owner opted for wheel spacers with stock wheels to make the offset a little more aggressive, but decided the car would be a whole lot more aggressive, not to mention more modern, with black HRE R40 wheels, so these were fitted soon after:

The R40's design focuses on weight reduction and strength:

Ignore the silver wheel lock bolt -- the owner painted this later that day.

Let's see a close-up of that offset for a nice fit from HRE:

Stock intake removed:

The V-flow installed:

Shiny new Tubi mufflers were installed for an exotic tone:

The car was also tuned for 91 octane with EVOMSit software, which adds another 10 RWHP and re-maps the electronic throttle for a punchier accelerator pedal.

And here she is ready to head home:
