Where are you getting that information? We know for sure the 991 will be first shown at Frankfurt Auto Show in September, but that will be a pre-production 'model'. We know we will have the MY2012 'Black Edition' for a many months longer and the GTS continues as a MY2012, in the 997.2 platform, until the 991 finally starts production. I have also heard that an all-wheel drive GTS (997.2 '4') will be announced shortly. That will be coming as a MY2012. Other special 911 editions will come to market soon, such as the expected gt3 RS Limited Edition (as a MY2012). But I don't think series production of the new 991 will start at Zuffenhausen in July or August! Perhaps the new platform will begin to be built much later in the year (November/December?) as a MY2013. I don't expect to see 991's at US dealers until about this time next year (2012). So US dealers will be selling 997.2 911's of MY2012 well until that time. What are European Porsche dealers telling customers about when they will be able to get their first 991's? z356 (Carmel)

But that's not important. What's important is if they are good cars. They are all good cars, so stop complaining. Do you guys want just a Carrera, a Turbo, and a GT3? That isn't characteristic of the 911.
