Enlighten me about Carrera RSR's...

A friend sent me this ad and really got me wondering what the heck a Carrera RSR is. A few searches on Google and I could find nothing. Anybody with info about it?

There is no such thing. This appears to be a supercharged 996 C2 with a replica 996 gt2 front bumper and a replica GT3 RS wing.

In this case, it's a lame sticker. That's at 996.2 Carrera with a supercharger and GT2 front bumper and GT3RS rear wing (probably fake). The RSR is a racecar.

I believe the RSR was part of a factory offered race program- similar to the Challenge program offered by Ferrari.

The cars are race prepped. I can assure you they did not come with tint, plush leather seats, or ebay wheels.
