I can't wait for this car! The most anticipated model for me this year. Thanks for the compliments ZEM930 and MiniGeorge. Oh, and DJ, great Cabriolet rendering. I think it would look good as the sticky image on the 996-997 forum page

One thing I don't think has been mentioned: Usually Porsche's test mules run the next-gen wheels. I remember during the Turbo's buildup, I kept thinking how hideous the wheels were, then lo and behold - the production car got the same wheels. I hope it's not the case this time. These wheels are VERY boring. I think the best OEM Porsche wheels in the last 20 years are the 17" Cup on the 993, the 18" Turbo Twist on the 993 Turbo, the current GT3 wheel, and the current Carrera II S wheels (like on my C4S).

Ah, yes.
Those look a lot like the new lightweight alloys introduced on the Boxster Spyder and now available on the Cayman R. Maybe they've been redone for the 991, or they could be the same wheels?
Thought I'd point that out. And Porsche: PLEASE pull a 918 and show us the 991 in Geneva.
