ctracer is an unknown quantity at this point
nice stable. the only requirement for buying a car in my house is that it has 3 pedals. the only way to go.

Sounds like your wife knows what's up!
So many women these days can't even drive a manual...

3 pedals is the only way to fly.

Not necessarily a bad thing when you're wife isn't the greatest driver
Not so good when it would be really useful for her to be able to drive one of my cars (i.e. gettin' liquored up at dinner)

Great story... I'm with you 100%. This car will become my wife's car and my next one will be a manual. Congrats!!

So interesting to hear so many supporters. I would think that a lot of people would jump in and start defending the PDK. Nice to see there is still a world of enthusiasts clamoring for manuals.

Yes, it seems that Porsche is one of very few high-end sports car left that offers a manual. Note that all their "GT" cars are only offered in manuals. Ferrari is gone. Mercedes really never had one. BMW probably will not offer one for the new M5 and M6. (I don't consider the 1's and 3's to be high-end sports cars). Audi still does on the R8 which is why I would be interested in the R8 spyder.

Hopefully Porsche is monitoring this and know how many enthusiasts still want manuals and continue to offer them. MY GTS cab is gonna be a manual.
