parking on a couple layers of carpet padding will also help.

+1 I've driven mine every winter since I got it...and mine doesn't have awd. I couldn't go 5 months without driving it. Plus, do you know how much fun a Porsche is in an empty parking lot after a few inches of snow?

I am thinking about overinflating + driving the car over 4 pieces of blue styrofoam.

Came in to say exactly this.

2+ layers of carpet under the tires
fuel stabilizer
battery tender
well ventilated area.

Done deal.

I am in Montreal.

So here is my to do list for a 4 month break:

- Oil Change
- Fill up the fuel tank and put 8oz of Sta-Bil in there
- Overinflate tires to max pressure allowed by tires
- Roll car on some foam pads (styrofoam or other)
- Plug-in a battery maintainer

Did I forget anything?

to prevent flat spots either get tire cradles ($300) or make your own.

Take the summer tires off and store horizontally!
Mount 18" wheels with snow tires and ENJOY!!
Honestly - I think I have more fun with my C4S in the snow than the summer.
I live in central MN, so summer is only a few months.........
