certainly going to be an awesome car, my only concern is obviously a gt3 can be had for pennies (to a teamspeeder) more, but they are aiming it as sort of a more comfortable daily driveable gt3

Who cares if it isn't something very special? It's a widebody C2S with more power, nice looks and a lot of standard equipment for a bargain price. What could you want more?

And as much as I like the GT3, for driving on public roads the GTS will be just as good, if not better on bumpy sections. Also it doesn't have that big rear wing, which looks a bit ridiculous in normal traffic.

Nice car, I like the fact that we can finally order a rear wheel drive 911 with the wide body. Not sure I like the long writing on the back Carrera GTS. To me a GTS will always remind me of Cayenne. God forbids Porsche will make a Cayenne GT2 or GT3!!!

Perhaps the best solution is to have just the GTS on the back in body or contrasting color, or 911 GTS instead of Carrera GTS.

Looks like now at the end of its life they put all the best things about the various 997 models all in one single car to make it the ultimate 997 Carrera. I can't think of anything to make this car better. RWD, wide body, RS Spyder wheels, sport exhaust and PDK. Doesn't get much better imo

I like it but just don't see the point like others have said. I'll just take a C4S and add the RS wheels and call it a day.
