Looks like Porsche does have a software loaded for catless cars:

QUOTE(Vman @ Mar 4 2007, 04:12 PM)

The right software map is in your porsche tech's Porshe System tester 2 it is called ROW software mode and does not look for the rear O2 sensor, also the program is a bit richer and matches really well with high flow 100 or 200 cel cats and high quality Scargo headers, we are seeing about 25 to 30 HP over stock, same set up running U.S. OBD 2 program had 20 hp less and when we tried a chip by one of the tuners it was even worse. Did you ever send the pipes back to Fabspeed as mentioned above, if not drop me a line as I would be happy to buy them and put them on a dyno to see what happens.

well i checked with the dealer here in Bahrain and they have no idea about a cat-delete option.. weird, maybe this option is only available in the U.A.E.

I remember reading about the same topic a couple of months ago on 6speed, i guess you are the same guy.. welcome to the team bro..

Anyways, hope you enjoy your car in good heard!!

Hi 911 S

You I don't have the option code but you can find it on the dealers configurator listed under the Options > Transmission/Chassis tab.
There are many options available on the dealers configurator that are not visible to us on the online configurator.

This sort of option is driven by fuel availability in the host country. Is unleaded fuel commonly available in the UAE? Porsche delivers them configured for the fuel situation you will encounter.

Yes, all the fuel over here is unleaded, they stopped offering leaded fuel at gas stations over a decade ago.
