Atl, I actually really like the OZ wheels. They're a reputable company, and you know you're getting a good product. I like the GT3 wheels too, but if you want to be a little different, the OZ's are a great choice. I personally don't like black wheels, but that's just an opinion. Either way, the car's definitely going to need a drop. With the addition of aftermarket wheels, a drop is usually necessary. Modding is a slippery slope.

Thanks Raza. And yes, modding is an addiction that I cannot avoid. I need to go to a 12 step program to break the habit.

What do you think of white wheels on a white car?

White wheels on white can look good, but the shade of white has to be the same or it will look off. For your car, I'd have to vote against it. I'd go with either silver or a brushed face to keep it clean and classy. If you want a more hardcore track, racer look, black or gold would do nicely. It really depends on what look you're going for.

Hmm... those are not a bad option at all. How much for a set? Also here are the OZ Ultralegerra's in 20's on a buddy's white 997.

I am probably going to do the H&R's for now regardless of which wheel I go for. I wish it was an easy DIY and I could just do the alignment professionally. I've been quoted 3 times as much as the springs for labor/install and it seems like a lot to me for lowering it.

I missed the post on the "previous debacle" about your wheel purchase... My answer to the first post in this thread would be a vote for the GT3 Wheels... seems like a good price, I couldn't turn it down

I really like the Sportecs AND the OZs. With either, I don't think anyone would ever ask you why you bought them.

Wow, those are pretty nice. They on the list of possibilities. Thanks for posting that pic. I never thought I would buy a set of Japanese wheels after I had my old ricer in high school.
