That's really strange. I've had LOTS of BBS wheels and never had a problem. They get plenty dirty, but nothing a little wash and wipedown couldn't fix.

Agreed about the RUFs, Justin - Real or none at all.

I know and I have always been so angry about it because even before I had a car to puts wheels on I loved their designs and everything then I got a set and not before lone the spotting came. Then being a forgiving and loyal guy I bought another set of a different model and the same thing happened again so now I steer clear.

Yeah that sucks. I don't blame you for your skepticism. I am like that about iForged after seeing their "workmanship" on some of my buddies' cars.
