Dymags & Valet Parking

The valet parking at the Capital Grill in Pittsburgh did this to my right rear wheel. I have a new one ordered from Wheel Enhancement, the new importer. After talking to Bill, previously of Rennworx, the previous importer and now with Wheel enhancement (a real gentlemen), I decided to order a new wheel rather than sent it back to England for possible but unlikely repair. After having four non-leakers, I am just hoping the fifth is a non-leaker also.

A) why in the hell would you EVER valet that car?

B) did the valet idiot pay for the replacement?

I won't patronize restaurants that only have valet, and I would NEVER take my Porsche somewhere I could not park it myself. Sorry.

Wow, that's terrible. I'd never trust any valet with a car of that high numerical figure if it were my own.

Hope it all works out for you!

I take it you don't live in LA. It would be impossible to live here with any sort of freedom if you were unwilling to valet.

Yah, had my champion rg5b's worked over just like that by a valet in LA. Of course I didnt notice until the next morning, so I couldnt get them to pay to fix it. Albeit, machined finished lips are a lot easier to fix than carbon!

Well, at the very least, you had an great meal (if it was up to usual standards). Kidding aside, I expect that the Capital Grill will make things right. Good luck getting them to take care of it!
