I used to be a valet in college. Take it from me, you NEVER want to valet a nice car. We used to sneek EVERY nice car out on our 'valet 1/4 mile' to see how they performed. I once ragged on a Lotus Espirit Turbo (still with the window sticker)--take it from the patron and directly out of the parking lot.

I'll pay them hefty to let me part my own car in the front.

WTF!! That just makes me mad. Whoever parked the car must have rubbed and just kept on rubbing. Sad.

Accepting that half of the valet ticket “basically” releases the driver and the business from being liable for any damages
