IPOD, 12 Turbo PCM not showing songs etc...

I have a 2012 Turbo S and it came with the interface cord to connect an IPod. When I connect the IPod and dial in Drive/AUX I can hear the songs on the PCM but cannot see the song title, artist, play list etc.

The owners manual says I should be able to press disk until IPod is highlighted but I cannot get it to display IPod.

The manual also says to update the firmware on the IPod to make sure it has the latest version. I have 5.1.1. The unit is version 4, purchased last December.

I will appreciate any input or comments from members.

The dealer checked the PCM software version and it is the latest.
Ipod also has the latest version.
Dealer will check with zone rep and advise.
Thanks for your input.

Problem fixed.
It was a bad interface cord.
Cheers
